Enroll in Training
Register through an Authorized Training Partner (A.T.P.) or opt for the online learning path. New to Kanban? Start with the free Kanban Essentials Certified (KEC) 3-hour virtual instructor-led webinar.
Prepare for Exam
Build your knowledge using the official KBOK™ Guide (A Guide to the Kanban Body of Knowledge) alongside curated online resources. Practice with chapter tests, study guides, and flashcards to solidify your grasp of Kanban principles and metrics.
Schedule and Take Exam
Book your exam directly through the portal. Depending on your certification level, you will complete either an unproctored exam (Essentials) or a proctored online exam (Professional/Manager levels) in a secure, monitored setting.
Get Certified
Once you pass the exam, download your digital certificate instantly. Your credentials will be listed in the Kanbanstudy™ Certification Registry, formally recognizing your expertise in workflow efficiency and ROI optimization.
How to Schedule Your kanban Exam

Visit online.vmedu.com and sign in to your Kanbanstudy certification account using your registered credentials.
Go to My Exams
Navigate to the My Exams section from your personalized dashboard to view all exams available to you.
Schedule Exam
Pick your preferred language, time zone, date, and time slot. After confirming, you will receive an email with full exam instructions.

A working webcam is required for proctored exams (Professional/Manager levels) to supervise the testing environment and uphold exam integrity.
